Racking load

The load a pallet carries supported only at its ends, in beam racking. About 1000 kg on an EPAL pallet.

Also called: beam load

The smallest of the three load figures and usually the one that binds. If pallets go into racking at the far end of the journey, this is the number that decides how many layers you can build — not the trailer height.
