We do not publish the names of the factories we buy from. This page explains what we publish instead, and why the trade-off is the one we have chosen.
Why the names are not here
The relationships with these four manufacturers — negotiated over years, at volumes that took years to reach — are the asset this business runs on. A list of names is a set of instructions for going around us, and a supplier who hands that out has misunderstood what they are selling.
What that cannot mean is asking you to trust an anonymous claim. So everything an audit would actually verify is below: where each plant is, what it runs, what it is certified to, and how long we have worked together. Any of it can be confirmed on a plant visit, which we arrange for buyers at programme volumes.

Six lines matters more than the tonnage: it is what lets a custom colour run without holding up three other orders, which is the usual reason a sack lead time slips.

The kiln on site is the detail worth knowing. Plants that subcontract ISPM 15 treatment add two to five days and a handling risk; this one adds two days and nothing else.

Having both cast and blown under one roof is uncommon at this scale and is why we can quote either without a lead-time penalty. Cast is clearer and quieter; blown holds a load better on sharp-cornered goods.

The segregated hall is the detail worth knowing. A plant that runs food film and technical film through the same hall can produce a compliant roll; it cannot produce the traceability an audit asks for when something goes wrong.
How we chose them
Four criteria, applied in this order:
- Consistency over price. A factory that is 3% cheaper and off-spec twice a year costs more than one that is not. We measure by claim rate, and we know each plant’s.
- Certification already in place. Not promised, not in progress. A plant that needs to obtain a certificate for your order will miss the date.
- Capacity headroom. A plant running at 95% has no room for your peak. All four run with room to absorb a surge.
- Willingness to be audited. Every one of these plants has hosted a buyer visit arranged by us.
Plant visits
For buyers at programme volumes — roughly six full trailers a year and upwards — we arrange visits to the relevant plant. You see the line, the QC lab and the certification file. We attend; the commercial relationship stays with us, and that is stated in advance to everyone in the room.
It is a reasonable thing to ask for before committing to a supply programme, and a supplier who will not arrange it is telling you something.
What we do not claim
The certifications above belong to the manufacturers and are issued in their names. Mervia Group holds none of them and does not present them as its own. Any supplier who blurs that line — listing a factory’s ISO certificate on their own About page as though it were theirs — is worth a second look, because the same looseness tends to show up in specifications.
