Ordering process
From first enquiry to delivered load in five steps, with what we need from you at each one and how long each stage actually takes.
Who you contract with, what the minimum order is, how long it takes and who carries the risk — published before you speak to anyone.
Most packaging suppliers put this information behind a sales conversation. We publish it, because the questions below are the ones that decide whether you place a first order, and making you ask them one at a time wastes a week of your time and ours.
You buy from Mervia Group Sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland. We hold the contract, issue the invoice and carry responsibility for the goods. Four Polish manufacturers produce them. You deal with us.
Minimum order is one pallet per specification. Lead time is 12–15 working days ex works for stock specifications, 18–22 for custom sizes or print. Payment on a first order is 30% on confirmation and 70% before dispatch, moving to 30 days net after three completed shipments.
Everything below is the detail behind those four sentences.
A factory that extrudes polyethylene sacks does not press pallets, and a pallet works does not blow film. Buying four categories direct means three contracts, four minimum orders, four payment schedules and four part-loads each paying full freight.
What we add is consolidation: one negotiation, one contract, one invoice, and a mixed pallet or a full trailer that leaves our dispatch point as a single shipment. What we do not add is a lower price than buying a full truck of one product direct from the factory that makes it. Nobody can offer that, and a supplier who claims otherwise is telling you something you can check.
On accountability: whichever factory produced a line on your order, the claim, the credit note and the replacement freight come from us. That is the practical difference between an agent who holds the contract and a broker who introduces you to a factory and steps aside.
If you already know what you buy, send the specification and skip the reading. If you are scoping a change of supplier, the six pages below cover every commercial question in the order it usually comes up.
