What a collar replaces

A pallet plus collars plus a lid is a reusable box that folds to 40 mm when empty. It replaces a pallet box for anything handled repeatedly, and it replaces stretch film entirely for loads that are picked from rather than shipped whole.

Stack collars to the height the load actually needs — one for a shallow layer, four for a full pallet — and take them off as the pallet is picked down. That is the part that makes them worth the money in a pick face.

Four hinges or six

Four hinges is standard and folds flat. Six hinges lets the collar fold into a smaller footprint for return transport, and is worth the small premium where empties travel back.

A practical note

Collars are the one product in this catalogue where buyers routinely under-order. They circulate, they get lost, and a pick face short of collars goes back to using film. Order 20% over the calculated need for the first cycle.
