The figure that surprises people

An EPAL pallet carries 1500 kg safe working load, 3000–4000 kg static, and roughly 1000 kg racked. Rack capacity is about a third of static, not most of it, and it is the figure that decides what you can put on a beam.

If a racking layout was designed from the static number, it is over-loaded. This is the single most common misreading of a pallet datasheet.

Licensed production

Only a licensed producer may make EPAL pallets. Ours is licensed and the licence number appears on the documentation. What you receive is new production under licence — not repaired pool stock cleaned up and sold as new, which is a real practice in this trade and one worth asking every supplier about directly.

ISPM 15

Heat treatment is required for wooden packaging leaving the EU and is not required for intra-EU movements. Our plant has the kiln on site, which adds two days rather than the five a subcontracted treatment adds.

If you re-export goods on our pallets to a third country, order treated pallets from the start. Retro-treating a loaded pallet is not practical.
