Duty class

Trade shorthand for the thickness band of a refuse sack — light, medium, heavy, extra heavy, rubble grade.

Also called: light duty, medium duty, heavy duty

It is convention, not a standard. EN 13592 classifies by drop test and says nothing about microns, so “heavy duty” means whatever a supplier decides it means until a number is attached.
