Declaration of Conformity
The signed document by which whoever places packaging on the EU market declares that it conforms, backed by technical documentation.
Also called: DoC, EU declaration of conformity
Drawn up by the manufacturer inside the EU, or by the importer where the goods come from outside it. A supplier letter saying “complies with all relevant legislation” is not one.
