LLDPE
Linear low-density polyethylene. Tougher than LDPE for the same thickness, and the base polymer of almost all stretch film.
Also called: linear low-density polyethylene
Where a specification says LDPE for film, it usually means LLDPE. The distinction matters for puncture resistance and for how far the film can be pre-stretched.
